Gluten Free Irish Breakfast Roll

Gluten Free Irish Breakfast Roll

Let’s face it, we all love a treat weather we are gluten free or not!

Heading down to the local shop for a breakfast roll isn’t an option when you are gluten free. However thanks to many awesome gluten free companies, we can now enjoy our weekend treats just like everyone else.

If you are not sure what should be included in a gluten free breakfast roll, here is a list for you:

Gluten free sausages – although there are many options out there I like the Tescos range, Lidl, Aldi and Clonakilty gluten free sausages.

Gluten free puddings – these are a little harder to find. However Lidl do a gluten free black and white pudding as well as the Clonakilty range.

Rashers – these are naturally gluten free.

Fried egg – naturally gluten free .

Ketchup – usually gluten free but just check on the label.

Gluten free bread – I am not a huge fan of bread gluten free or not and trying to eat a gluten free sandwich stuffed with the above is even more of a chore as it usually crumbes in my hands.

However Supervalu in Clonakilty have launched their own gluten free range and boy oh boy we can’t get enough in this house! They have gluten free rolls (see picture) which crisp up in the oven and perfect for the ultimate breakfast roll experience.

I know we are meant to be planning out our New Year’s resolutions but I’m still planning my New Years Day breakfast after the big party!
