Even better than the 'real' thing!



We wanted our cake and, of course, we wanted to eat it. But, we also wanted to enjoy it too.

 

Instead of giving up or giving in to the temptation of foods that gave us fleeting satisfaction (and long-lasting regret),

we began to experiment with some natural alternative ingredients.

 

Playing with the chemistry of good fats, unrefined and natural sugars, nutritionally-dense flours, fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts, we created PATISSEfree, our patisserie range made with 100% plant-derived ingredients.

Our cakes and pastry are made with alternative flours (almond, rice, sweet potato, coconut, tapioca, sorghum, teff, and chickpea), seeds (chia, quinoa, and amaranth), and pulses (black beans), and vegetables (spinach, pumpkin, aubergine) in a variety of flavours.

All gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free, our delicious treats look and taste even better than the ‘real' thing.

 

Our icings, creams, gels, bavarois, mousse and ice cream are made from real fruits and essential oils. The only sweetener we use is maple syrup, and we only use coconut oil, coconut butter, and coconut milk to substitute dairy products.
