My name is Jimmy McLoughlin, after training as a butcher I founded Quality First Ltd back in 1997 recognising a need for better quality chicken products and greater variety than was available in Ireland at that time.
I initially developed products for supply to restaurants and butcher shops around Dublin, producing products in a small way from an Enterprise Centre and delivering them in my little van! Back then I did sales,production, deliveries and book keeping. I was fortunate to have a supportive girlfriend who soon joined the business and together we have achieved great things.
We produce breaded chicken products such as Garlic kiev, Salt'n' Chilli Goujons and also filled tortilla wrap such as Mexican Chicken and Pulled Pork wraps. Our products have been extremely popular in Butcher shops and we are the leading supplier to Butchers for breaded chicken. Our products are supplied nationwide through a network of Distributors and we also sell increasing quantities to the UK. Everything is produced to the highest level of food safety standards in our custom built BRC accredited plant where we employ 32 staff.
We rebranded in 2010 to 'Rosie & Jim' and in 2015 were-formulated all of our breaded and battered chicken to Gluten Free as standard.
The secret to our success is uncompromising quality in the ingredients we use, attention to detail in our production, excellent customer service. 2017 is our 20th year in business and we look forward to continued growth and innovation for the coming 20 years.

I have only been diagnosed a few months ago and was raging .. Heard of these and searched, few places not to far but recently found them in my local super valu. The goujons are gorgeous ,on par with any I've ever had.. Have used them in wraps, for "hot chicken rolls" and as a main with sweet potato fries and corn on cob.. Cant wait to try everything else in the range .
